Yes, it was a "down" day with only one short birding time. The rest of the day was spent in the trailer getting some budget items settled, sorting some of the many photos from this week, and getting a few supplies in from the store. Gotta have those days Most fthe heavy birding days were terrific, and also were long. 10-12 hours each day. That's a lot of riding in the van. We had two long walks on the beach and in the Nature reserve.
The wind went back to the north today which did bring the migrants northward. There were no new warblers today and will probably not be any all week as the wind is scheduled to stay in the NNE.
So, let's start with the short Birding Trip , as we went back to LaFitte's Cove and Nature Park. But like many ther places the birds were the same with a few exceptions. We did see all of the ones we saw earlier this week there, plus a Kentucky Warbler. Here are a few photos from the nature park (La Fitte's) and neigborhood.

In the afternoon we got gasoline in the truck at $2.63/gal, and did some shopping at Randall's and I don't believe there were a dozen folks in the store. They must have all been out in the 73 F and sunshine. In the veening after supper I waited for the sun to set and did get some beautiful deep, hues in the sunset photos. Hope you like them.

**As a footnote, grandson Tavin Ardell attended the scholarship presentation today at Lawrence Tech , where he received an Athletic Scholarship to play soccer there. His Mom and Dad also attended. It was a proud moment for all. He previously had received an Academic Scholarship from them.
The wind is in the Northeast agan today , so spring warblers probably will be scarce yet.
